What I do

I work across resource consents, designations, and policy planning, including the preparation of submissions on RMA policy or plans. If the idea sits under the RMA, I can scope it, assess it, shape it with the right experts and move it forward.

My Approach

Individual development proposals offer their own unique set of circumstances, so I like to put in the time upfront to work through how we get from the spark of an idea through to consents lodged. This allows us to explore the issues, risks, information requirements and decisions to be made, from start to finish.

  • The process we agree on at the start keeps us on track when information changes and risks emerge. Your project will take shape with clarity and certainty about what's being progressed.

  • Planning can involve a lot of words. I speak plainly and reduce the jargon where I can.

  • I bring in the right specialists -engineers, traffic experts, acoustic consultants, landscape architects, ecologists, heritage advisers, surveyors, and architects. Together we become your project team, and I ensure the right questions get asked and answered.

  • I identify RMA issues early and respond to new ones as they arise, keeping you fully informed. You'll receive ongoing risk updates throughout the project.
